List, Search and Filters

Full List and My List

There are two tabs at the top of the main list page. Both draw the same table; what differs is which anime get in:

Which tab opens by default is set in List Settings → General Settings → "Default List". Clicking a tab does not change that default; it just switches for the current visit.

Browsing without signing in: My List is built from personal watch data, and a signed-out visitor has none — so that tab does nothing and the Full List is always shown.

Search

The "Search anime..." box above the list looks at both the anime title and its alternative titles. The match does not have to start the name: typing "titan" also finds "Attack on Titan". "Clear" removes the search.

Search and the letter filter are not the same: The search box finds text anywhere in the name; "Filter by Letter" returns only names that begin with that letter.

Filters and Sorting

The list offers six filters. They work together — each choice narrows the result further, none cancels another:

Filters and search survive pagination: moving to page two does not drop your choices.

Emotion Filter

This one is not a dropdown on the list page; it turns on when you click an emotion badge on the Statistics page, and it returns the anime you marked with that emotion. A "Emotion filter: ..." line appears above the list, with a link next to it that clears the filter.

Items Per Page

Choose how many anime a page shows: 10 (the default), 20, 30, 50, 100, or "All". On a large catalog "All" can make the page slow.

Sorting

The small ↑ and ↓ arrows in the table headers change the sort order. Four columns can be sorted: Anime (title), Status, Watched Episodes and Next Episode. Status sorts alphabetically by the label in the current interface language.

Recently Updated

The "Recently Updated" page in the menu has two tabs. Episode Updates shows the five anime whose aired episode count changed most recently: an anime lands here when the daily broadcast sync counts one more episode, when you change the episode count in the edit form, or when a catalog import brings a new number. Content Updates shows the five anime most recently added to the catalog or whose details (synopsis, dates, links, poster...) were edited; an episode count increase does not move this tab. The third tab, Recently Watched, is personal: the ten anime whose watch progress you changed most recently, newest at the top — for checking "where was I". Which tab the page opens in is chosen in List Settings (default: episodes).

Do not confuse the catalog tabs with the personal one: Episode and Content Updates show the latest changes to the catalog; marking an episode does not move those two lists. Recently Watched shows only your activity; other members do not see it, and catalog edits do not move it.

Watch log and period filters

Under the Recently Watched tab there is a strip: Last week, Last month, All and a two-date range form. The week, month and range views read the watch log: whenever your watched episode count changes (+/− on the list or the detail page, the edit form, a MAL/AniList/JSON import) the log gets one line saying "from what to what, when". These views show, per anime, the net episodes watched in that period as a badge and print an "N anime, M episodes" summary above the list; an episode you added and then took back does not count. The log started with 1.1.46 and is not backfilled — no invented dates on old rows. Watching from before that shows only in the All view, by last-touch time and labelled "pre-log". The chosen period lives in the address and is not saved; your default-tab preference in List Settings stays as it is. The log goes into your backup (under each anime as watch_log) and comes back on restore.
