Synopsis:
Nell lives and works in her grandfather's antique shop. Her grandfather, Trent, falls into debt to a wealthy man named Quilp. However, since he cannot repay the debt, he loses his shop. The condition for getting the shop back is that Nell marry Brass, Quilp's lawyer. But Nell does not want to marry him, and so she and her grandfather secretly set out for the place where her mother lives.
